„Hotel mit dem Charme von früheren Tagen, allerdings mit Renovierungsbedarf. Personal sehr freundlich
Das Hotel lebt vom Charme vergangener Tage. Das Restaurant Café Metropole hat sich durch einen Sondereinsatz hervorgehoben. Meine Freune und ich (10 Personen) wurden trotz später Stunde noch mit vegetarischen Pommes Frites und Knabbereien verwöhnt. Wir haben es alle genossen. Vielen Dank dafür.
Von einem 5*-Hotel hätte ich erwartet, dass die Zimmer mit Hausschuhen und Bademantel ausgestattet sind. Leider fehlte beides. Ueberall nagt der Zahn der Zeit. Der Stuck fällt von den Decken und die Farbe blättert von den Wänden. Das Haus braucht dringend eine Renovierung um den 5*-Status zu halten.

„Romantisches Hotel mit dem Charme eines Grand Hotels vergangener Jahre
Die Lage des Hortels ist ausgezeichnet. Parken kann man ein einem zwei Fußminuten gelegenem (leider sehr engen) Parkhaus. Das Personal ist professionell und freundlich. Die verschiedenen Salons und die Haupthalle sind echte Schmuckstücke, die zum gemütlichen Verweilen einladen.
Der kleine Fahrstuhl erinnert an die zwanziger Jahre. Mit viel Gepäck sollte man sich helfen lassen, was aber kein Problem ist. Manche Dinge könnte man etwas modernisieren, z.B. die Duschen. Aber das ist Kritik auf sehr hohem Niveau.

Tolles Ambiente in der Lobby. Die normalen Zimmer sind ok, die Suiten sind schön
Liebloser und schmuckloser Frühstücksraum, der überhaupt nicht zu dem Charakter eines alten Grandhotels passt. Frühstück selbst ist ok, mehr auch nicht.
